The downgrade rule, in plain words
If you stop paying for Premium, you keep read access to everything you’ve stored, and you can always export or delete your data. Premium-only generation, automation and usage above free allowances pause — but billing state never deletes, corrupts or ransoms your health data. Ever.

The honest fine print
Is Free free forever?
That’s the plan and the principle: HealthM8 Free is designed to remain a genuinely useful private health record — owning and organising your data, deterministic blood results and trends, a basic stack, standard reports, and permanent export and delete rights. It is not a time-limited demo.
What happens to my data if I cancel Premium?
Nothing bad — that’s a promise built into the product. You keep read access to everything already stored, and export and deletion always remain available. Premium-only generation, automation and usage above the free allowances pause; your health data is never deleted, corrupted or held hostage by billing state.
When will Premium pricing be announced?
Before public launch. We’re running an invite-only beta first to understand real usage — retention, AI and storage costs — so Premium can be priced honestly in AUD (with GST handled transparently) rather than guessed at.
How will AI fair-use limits work?
Premium AI features (Insights and Ask) will have transparent fair-use limits, published before launch. Basic facts, trends and blood-result status never depend on AI — they’re deterministic and available on every plan.
What are the import and storage limits on Free?
Free includes unlimited viewing and manual entry plus a recurring allowance for document imports and storage. The exact allowances are being validated during the beta and will be published before public signup opens.
Will I be able to subscribe through the App Store?
A native iOS experience is on the roadmap but not released. Web billing comes first; App Store billing, if offered, will be explained clearly before native access ships. We won’t advertise native features until they actually exist.
What about refunds and cancellation?
Cancellation will always be self-service, taking effect at the end of the paid period, with the downgrade protections above. Full refund terms will be published alongside pricing before launch.
